Anterior lumbar interbody fusion cage

kili implants are an internal spinal fixation system intended to provide stabilization of the lumbar spine while biologic fusion occurs.
The kili cages are inserted by impaction in the discal space by anterior approach.
The kili screws can be added for better anchoring.

kili implants are used with dedicated instruments which allow preparation of the site, insertion and removal of implants.

kili implants are supplied for single use.

Implants materials: Ti6Al4V (ISO 5832-3) for screws, and polyetheretherketone (PEEK Optima LT1, ASTM F-2026) and tantalum (ASTM F-560) for cages.
Instruments materials: stainless steel, propylux®, titanium alloy and polyphenylsulfone.

kili implants are indicated for intervertebral body fusion procedures by anterior approach, in skeletally mature patients with:

  • degenerative disc disease (DDD) of the lumbar spine at one or more contiguous levels. DDD is defined as discogenic back pain with degeneration of the disc confirmed by history and radiographic studies,
  • failed prior surgery.

kili implants are to be used with either autogenous bone graft, or bone substitute.

Patients should be skeletally mature and have experienced at least six months of non-operative treatment.
